Technological Capabilities

   The research and manufacturing company “Komandor” specializes in the design and production of sheet metal enclosures, as well as custom equipment and metal structures.

 

Laser Cutting

Advantages of laser cutting:

- production of parts with complex geometries;

- minimal material waste;

- high cutting accuracy (up to 0.01 mm), with no rough edges or flash;

- compatibility with all types of metal;

- working table size: 3000 × 1500 mm.

CNC Turret Punching

     CNC punching is the processing of sheet metal using specialized CNC turret punch press equipment. This technology makes it possible to manufacture virtually any part from sheet metal up to 3 mm thick. CNC punching is most commonly used for the production of enclosure components, sheet metal mechanism parts, mounting plates, brackets, and other metal products.

 

Sheet Metal Bending

     CNC press brake equipment enables fast production of complex part geometries with multiple bending angles while maintaining high dimensional accuracy and repeatability.  

Technical capabilities of the press brake:  

 - metal thickness: from 0.5 to 10 mm;
 - maximum pressing force: up to 135 kN;
 - maximum bending length: up to 3050 mm;
 - fast part positioning;
 - deflection compensation system;
 - programmed parameter control system.

Turning & Milling Operations

    Main machining operations performed on our equipment:

- machining of cylindrical and conical parts;
- production of grooves and fastening element blanks;
- face and shoulder machining;
- creation of knurled metal surfaces;
- internal surface machining;
- cutting internal and external threads;
- countersinking operations.

     We manufacture parts based on customer drawings or samples.

Powder Coating

   No matter how strong and durable a metal product may be, environmental exposure eventually leads to corrosion and loss of its original properties. Today, powder coating is one of the most effective ways to extend the service life of metal structures. This environmentally safe polymer coating significantly improves both the decorative appearance and protective properties of metal products.

Capacitor Discharge Welding

Main advantages of capacitor discharge welding:
- minimal deformation due to extremely short welding time;
- no visible weld marks on the reverse side of the product;
- high joint strength;
- welding access required from only one side of the part;
- capability to weld thin metal starting from 0.6 mm;
- compatibility with various metal combinations, including mild steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, and aluminum.

Welding Services

  We provide welding services for carbon steel and stainless steel using gas welding, arc welding, TIG welding, and other welding methods.

UV Printing

  Wear resistance and long service life are the key advantages of UV printing on metal. Before printing, the metal surface is treated with special adhesive compounds. The printed image is highly durable, resistant to mechanical impact, weather conditions, and other external factors.
  This printing method is commonly used for front panel markings, signage, office nameplates, equipment labels, and similar applications.

 

Mandrel Tube Bending

  Main advantages of mandrel tube bending:
      - no wrinkling on the inner bend radius;
      - small bending radius, typically not less than two pipe diameters;
      - no surface marks left by clamping;
      - no wall thinning;
      - precise compliance with specified bending parameters;
      - thin-wall tube bending with a mandrel ensures high repeatability and bending quality.

Automatic Lathe Machining

    Automatic turning machines perform the following operations:
- boring;
- facing;
- drilling holes of various diameters and cutting internal threads;
- cutting external threads.

Cutting of Blanks

High-precision cutting of metal and non-metal blanks using a band saw machine.

Sheet Rolling

  Rolling allows sheet metal to be formed into curved and cylindrical shapes. Sheet metal can be rolled into a complete or partial tube. This process can be applied to sheets of various sizes and thicknesses.

Plastic Processing

   Manufacturing of products from insulating materials using mechanical processing methods.

Engineering Documentation Development

Development of engineering and design documentation in accordance with ESKD standards.
